There are many struggles in life, but for me, sometimes it's finding the words to place onto the page. Writing is away to create new worlds, explore, and experience so many different emotions. With reading we learn not only to write, but certain stories and characters will change us through out our lives.

One must be passionate as optimism

Even when everything is breaking

It’s the blank page ready to change

The colors blending to create new

Darken sky turning plants green

The tea leaves to clear the mind

Seize the day with all your might

The world keeps us up at night

Yet we still find ways to connect

No matter what tests our patience

We keep moving, moving, moving

But staying in place, we hope safe

Doing our best to take care of others

In this time where fog rolls ahead

Don’t forget: take care of yourself
